INTERPRETING THE CONSTITUTION

Neil M. Gorsuch was nominated as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court by President Donald J. Trump, and took his seat on April 10, 2017. Gorsuch served as law clerk to Justices Byron White and Anthony M. Kennedy of the Supreme Court of the U.S. and from 2005-2006 served as Principle Deputy Associate Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice. In 2006, he was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Prior to serving on the Court, he was a law professor and lecturer University of Colorado Law School.
