"While there are many things we ought to do to move this country forward, there is nothing really more important than giving every person a shot to transfer their effort into progress, and their learning into earning. People aren’t just mouths to feed; they are potential, energy, creativity, effort, and work."

- BYRON AUGUSTE

creating economic and personal growth

Byron Auguste is the Co-founder and CEO at Opportunity@Work, an organization dedicated to helping adults that developed valuable skills outside of a four-year degree find employment. Through this work, Byron is hoping to change the current structure of the labor market and ultimately, give adults greater economic opportunities by having employers invest "based on competency and potential, not pedigree." Previous to starting this company, Byron worked at the White House as a deputy director of the National Economic Council, focusing on labor markets and job creation, and was a senior partner at McKinsey.
