A Statement from the AMS

The tragic killing in Atlanta, Georgia on March 16, 2021, is yet another horrific reminder of the systemic racial inequities that have plagued our nation for generations.

The Association of Marshall Scholars condemns all forms of racism and discrimination. We stand with the Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander community. We believe that each of us has a responsibility to support those who are feeling targeted and vulnerable. Our diversity gives us strength and, as an organization, we are committed to helping the drive for change, progress, and ultimately peace.

Among our members and across the many communities we serve, the AMS is committed to supporting equity and inclusion. If you would like to engage directly with the AMS in this vital work, please let us know: admin@marshallscholars.org.
