Valencia Joyner '99 Wins NSF Early Career Development Grant
The National Science Foundation recently awarded Valencia Joyner an Early Career Development Grant. Joyner, an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tufts University, is an expert in imaging and communications technology and artificial intelligence and is committed to bringing more women and underrepresented minorities into academic and professional worlds of math, science, and engineering.
